Most modern cellphones that are equipped with a rear camera will work.

MINIMUM PHONE REQUIREMENTS

1. Camera: 720 pixels minimum; 1080 recommended
2. Battery: 20% or more of capacity
3. Network: Use a strong Wi-Fi connection
4. Phone memory: 2 GB of free space (which is used to temporarily store data during the test)
5. Phone volume: Use medium to full volume
6. Apps: Close all other mobile apps during testing to improve data processing
7. Do Not Disturb mode: Enable during testing and turn Allowed Repeated Calls option off
8. Phone case: Use a dark color to avoid distraction

The test can be conducted at any suitable location and at any time. Here are some specific requirements: 

1. Room: Take the test in a quiet room, free of distractions.
2. Lighting: Use overhead lighting; avoid direct light from windows, lamps, computers, tv’s, or LED screens. Reflections in the eyes reduce data quality and test results.
3. Table & Chair: A sturdy table is required to rest your elbow on so that you can hold the phone at eye level while positioning your elbow on the table. You will be seated during the test so a sturdy, non swiveling chair without wheels are required to ensure that you do not move during the test

The test takes about 5 minutes to complete. To download the app and watch the tutorial video may take around another 5 minutes.

The test results will be emailed to the client who requested the test as soon as we completed the scoring of the test. Normally we are able to produce the test report  within 24 hours. Note however that we do not control internet networks and any delays because of that may cause a delay in the client receiving the written test report.

 We construct the questions according to the correct scientifically researched protocols which will offer the most accurate test results.

Questions only require a "true" or "false" answer.

An example of a typical question about having sexual contact with an adult other than you may look something like this:

"Speaking of having sexual contact with an adult besides my partner, I never did" Expected answer is "True"

The person taking the test receives a custom link from us via text message. When clicking the link, the smartphone lie detector app is downloaded onto the test takers phone.

When the test taker opens the test, the lie detection app will inform the test taker verbally of the steps to follow to take the test. The app lets the test taker do a practice test before the actual test, so that the test taker can be familiar with the test procedure.

Once the actual test starts, the app asks the test taker questions by means of an audio voice. While answering the questions, the test taker simply look at the phone camera in the way the app directs.

Once the test is completed and uploaded, the test taker logs out of the app. Our software then scores the answers and compile a detailed written report which we will then forward to the Client via e-mail.
