7. Disclaimer

7.1. Test Accuracy: The VerifEye app detects changes in eye behavior commonly associated with deception. However, no universal signs of deception are always present when a person lies. Therefore, CheatDetect cannot guarantee that the test results definitively indicate lying or truthfulness, as multiple factors may directly or indirectly influence involuntary eye behavior.
7.2. Use of Results: The VerifEye test results should be used as one of several data evaluation points and not as the sole deciding factor. If you are facing relationship or trust issues, we strongly recommend seeking the guidance of a marriage or relationship counselor.

8. Unsuitable Conditions for Testing

The following conditions may render the test results unreliable:
8.1. Eye and Medical Conditions:

  • Disorders affecting the hypothalamus, brain stem, spinal cord, or autonomic ganglia.
  • Multiple system atrophy, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes mellitus, multiple sclerosis, brain or spinal injury, and conditions causing orthostatic hypotension.
    8.2. External Factors:
  • Excessive eye makeup.
  • Extremely dry eyes.

9. Liability Disclaimer

CheatDetect is not liable for any inaccuracies in test results caused by factors such as, but not limited to:

  • Insufficient lighting.
  • Distracting environments.
  • Inadequate device capabilities or malfunctions.
  • Internet connectivity issues or failures.
The client accepts full responsibility for ensuring their adherence to the outlined requirements for optimal test performance.
